Dr. Hodges has over 28 years of experience as an active duty officer in the US Army working with DoD, Government, Industry, and Academia in the areas of human capital development (training and education), human systems integration, and modeling and simulation. He holds a Masters of Science and Ph.D. degrees in Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation (MOVES) from the US Naval Postgraduate School where he previously served as an Assistant Professor and the Deputy Director of the MOVES Institute. Dr. Hodges actively participates on the paper committees for several well known technical conferences and is a reviewer for the Journal of Defense Modeling and Simulation. He is an avid functional fitness practitioner and outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys reading, researching, and writing about both technical and non-technical subjects.
